Overview

The Wollar Solar Farm is a  400 MW solar development in NSW. The site is located about 7 km south of Wollar, a small village approximately 50km north east of Mudgee, and about 316 km north west to Sydney. Subject to further study, preliminary solar resource analysis looks very promising.

The site is located close to TransGrid’s existing Wollar Substation, which is located just east of the Solar PV site. 330 KV Wollar to Wellington transmission line crosses the north-east corner of the site, which is ideal for a loop-in-loop-out Grid connection.
